Rain Stick was an intervention for the Iberdrola Tower carried out in April 2018, with a strong technological and ecological character, which combined climate data from Brasilia and Bilbao to form a luminous rain that enveloped the building’s skin. Recycling the materials, software, and installation processes from “Switch-On.”

The data—temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, and wind strength—extracted in real time from stations located in those capitals determined the switching on and off, the intensity, and the relationship between the 4,500 LED light points installed in the building for this action. This building thus established a connection between two cities 9,000 kilometers apart, expressed in light variations determined by numerical values.
