ENCAPSULATED DRAWINGS

The Encapsulated drawings are nothing more than handmade glass balls blown with black Indian ink inside. They come with an instruction manual so that collectors can take them home and throw them hard against a wall, releasing the ink in the action, and the action is completed by sending a photo of the result to the gallery, which the artist certifies as his drawing. He talks about this democratization and expansion of the artist’s role. An encapsulated fluid that moves takes the shape of the container that holds it. It is there, but it only reaches its destination when a force releases and defines it. A rebellious, courageous, and unpostponable impulse brings about change.
