Perhaps that is the meaning of a small piece by Ampudia, also featured in the exhibition: a sculpture (a cloud of smoke that will soon be blown away by any breeze), with precisely that title, Smoke: an elegant form that, with the finest irony, seems to suggest that art is more than just a careful and seductive arabesque.
