This work features a projection of a landscape at dusk in which, for a brief moment, a cloud slowly takes the shape of a rectangle. The scene—minimal and fleeting—condenses the tension between geometric order and natural irregularity, between what imposes itself as structure and what flows as atmospheric matter.

The sound accompanying the image—fragments of primate cries and brief passages from Richard Strauss’s *Thus Spoke Zarathustra*—corresponds to “the dawn of man,” the opening scene of Stanley Kubrick’s *2001: A Space Odyssey*.

This image introduces a symbolic dimension regarding the origin and destiny of human consciousness. Ampudia juxtaposes the sublime and the primitive, biological evolution and cultural construction, highlighting the impossibility of separating our aesthetic perception from the mechanisms of power and knowledge that collide with the natural world.
